Our Food Vendors use strictly biodegradable food service products

We require that all of our food vendors use strictly compostable plates and cutlery.  This initiative was possible because of the hard work, sponsorship and great organizational skills of Celes Davar, of local Experiential Travel company, Earth Rhythms.  Celes also helped to forge our partnership with Clear Lake Golf Course, another of our wonderful 'Sustainability Partners'.

We are working towards the goal of hot composting

In 2012 we formed an important partnership with The Clear Lake Golf Course.  We are working towards educating festival goers on the benefits of composting, and are looking forward to having the opportunity to use the innovative hot compost facility at the Clear Lake Golf Course.  In addition to this Clear Lake Golf Course also donated the use of 2 electric golf carts to help transport our volunteers and musicians around the festival site.
